MCFARLAND (WKOW) -- McFarland Police are investigating a possible attempted child enticement.
Friday night, a 14-year-old male was walking near the intersection of Ridge Road and Valley Drive when a silver or gray sedan, possibly a Toyota Prius, stopped behind him. The boy states he had seen the car pass him two times before stopping.
He says an older white male with gray hair, possibly a bald spot on top, and a goatee stepped out of the vehicle and asked the teen if he needed a ride. The boy did not respond and continued walking.
The driver reportedly then began "speed walking" toward the boy, who then began to run. After a short distance, the young male could no longer see the older male or his vehicle.
No further information is available regarding the vehicle or the older man at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact McFarland Police at 608-838-3151.
