MADISON (WKOW) -- UW-Madison announced today the Dalai Lama will visit May 15 to lead "Change Your Mind Change the World 2013".
The series of panel discussions comes with thought leaders from a variety of fields, including neuroscience, economics and sustainability. Arianna Huffington and Daniel Goleman will be the moderators.
The event is co-hosted by the University's Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at the Waisman Center and the Global Health Institute.
Dialouges will revolve around how science, economics, environments, emotional intelligence, and health care can combine to make the world a happier, healthier place.
Experts will present their best work on global health and sustainable well-being, to which the Dalai Lama will respond to these insights and add his own thoughts and encouragement.
