Governor Walker signs seven bills

MADISON (WKOW) -- Governor Scott Walker signed Assembly Bills 2, 3 and 35 into law on Wednesday, as well as Senate Bills 2, 8, 10 and 27.

Below is a list of the bills and a brief description of the contents of each provided by the governor's office:
 
AB 2 extends the expenditure period for a tax incremental district in the city of Marinette. 
 
AB 3 exempts licensed veterinarians from the requirements of the prescription drug monitoring program. 
 
AB 35 changes the effective date and makes minor adjustments to a law relating to licensing, registration, and certification requirements for electrical contractors, electricians, and electrical inspectors. 
 
SB 2 modifies the publication and effective dates of acts. 
 
SB 8 allows the sale of alcohol at Peninsula State Park. 
 
SB 10 makes modifications to and allows for federal funding to be allocated for the Clean Water Fund Program and Safe Drinking Water Loan Program. 
 
SB 27 states certain types of audits can be done at the discretion of the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau.  This bill also puts in place safeguards for personal information that should remain confidential during the course of an investigation.
