Posted:

CHICAGO (WKOW) -- 92 homeless housing and service programs around Wisconsin will be sharing in more than $20 million from the federal government.

Wednesday, the secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development announced $21 million will be given to HUD-assisted, local homeless assistance programs.

Officials say the money will keep the programs open and operating in the coming year.

The grants are not effected by the sequester budget cuts.
