
MADISON (WKOW) -- A 15-year-old Madison teen was shot several times in the legs after an acquaintance pulled a BB gun on him.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon in the 1100 block of Morraine View Drive. The teen was not injured, and witnesses helped police track the 16-year-old suspect to a McKenna Blvd. community center.
The boy denied being involved. He was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on tentative charges of disorderly conduct while armed, unlawful use of a facsimile firearm and no person under the age of 18 shall go armed with a pellet gun.
Three replica handguns were found buried in the snow outside of the community center.
