MADISON (WKOW) -- A 19-year-old downtown resident called Madison police Tuesday evening to report a battery outside of his College Ct. residence.
The incident happened last Friday around 11:30 p.m. The victim states there were several social gatherings taking place in his neighborhood at the time of the attack.
He states loud music was coming from his apartment as he was with a friend when suddenly five to six men entered. They appeared to be party hopping, but the victim informed them it wasn't an open invitation to his place. He told them to leave, which they reluctantly agreed.
Shortly after leaving, they began banging on his door asking why they were kicked out. The victim then went outside, got into a fight with one and ended up being jumped by the group.
He says he fell to the ground, where he was kicked or hit many times. He did go to a hospital, where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
When asked why he waited to contact police, he said he was unable to describe in detail the suspects.
