MADISON (WKOW) -- A local organization that helps veterans readjust to society after returning home from deployment is asking for community support.
Dryhootch opened a center in Middleton last May. The group helps soldiers deal with PTSD, addiction and other problems they face after returning home.
Vietnam veteran Bob Curry is the found and says their needs are expected to grow. "There's a lot of needs that come in here. We partner with different agencies but we can only see so many people with the staff we have and extending hours and we know the demand will probably increase over the next 10 years," Curry said.
Dryhootch also has centers in Milwaukee, central Wisconsin and the Fox Valley. Curry says they rely heavily on community support and donations from local businesses.
