SENECA (WKOW) -- The Green Lake County Sheriff's Department says County Highway D is closed in the township of Seneca because of the flooding of Sucker Creek.
The highway is now closed between Berlin and Princeton. Barricades and notices of the closure have been posted on both ends of CTH D and specifically at Big Island Road on the east side and also at CTH DD on the west side.
Authorities say the current from the creek has begun to erode the roadway and is also depositing and forming ice at that location.
The sheriff's department says deputies will be checking the area for compliance. Violators will be cited.
