
MADISON (WKOW) -- A Winter Weather Advisory for our area Friday will not start until 9:00 a.m. now.
The information from the National Weather Service was updated around 4:15 a.m. The potential storm is expected to get into our area a little later than originally expected.
The Winter Weather Advisory still goes until 1:00 p.m.
WKOW Meteorologists say a cold front will give us a chance of freezing rain and sleet mixing with rain or snow this morning. After the cold front tracks south of our area this afternoon, a period of light snow is expected this evening with very light accumulations.

MADISON (WKOW) -- There is a Winter Weather Advisory for our area Friday.
The Winter Weather Advisory starts at 6:00 a.m. and goes until 1:00 p.m. WKOW meteorologists say there will be light freezing rain in the morning and light rain in the afternoon which will change to light snow in the evening.
Accumulations of snow will be up to one inch.
The high for Friday will be 37 degrees with winds at around five miles per hour coming out of the northwest and then from the east.
