MADISON (WKOW) -- Just before 1:30 Friday morning, a patrol Sergeant for the UW Madison Police Department stopped a vehicle driving without headlights on.
The stop happened on Langdon Street. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Karl Moreth, of Sun Prairie, said he hadn't realized his lights weren't on.
During the stop, one of the passengers in the vehicle began to vomit on himself while another passenger urinated. All three of the passengers were intoxicated and had previous convictions of OWI.
Moreth underwent a field sobriety test and it was determined he was operating under the influence. He was arrested and booked into the Dane County Jail for OWI-5th offense, operating after revocation and operating without proper lights.
