
JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Janesville Fire Department units were dispatched for a possible residential fire and one person was taken to the hospital.
The dispatch center was reporting smoke coming from a residence at 67 South Harmony Drive in Janesville. Upon arrival, the fire department found heavy smoke coming from inside the home.
The fire started in the basement and a person was located in the basement and taken to a local hospital.
The Janesville Fire Department remained on scene for five hours. Currently, the fire is under investigation.
The estimated value of the property and contents lost is more than $200,000.
