Drunk driver hurt in crash

COTTAGE GROVE (WKOW) -- A drunk driver is seriously injured after crashing his truck early Saturday morning.

Cottage Grove police say the 41-year-old man was driving on Hope Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, and hit a traffic sign and a tree in the 2900 block.

The man was taken to an area hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. He was arrested for first offense drunk driving. Police have not released the man's name.
