ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- The City of Beloit Fire Department received a report of a residential fire on the 1100 block of Harvey Street.

First arriving units report heavy smoke and fire showing from the structure.

The fire had gained much headway before the arrival of fire companies. The fire Command officer upgraded the alarm level to a 2^nd alarm for 3 additional engine companies from, Janesville, Cherry Valley and Clinton.

There is $50,000 in damages and heavy fire and smoke damage throughout the two-story home.

The fire remains under investigation.

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Crews are still on scene of a residential fire.

It started about 8:45 a.m. on Sunday in Beloit on the 1100 block of Harvey Street. No injuries are reported.

Crews are investigating the cause of the fire.
