WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- When Congress returns from its spring recess, lawmakers will dive into the gun control debate, which is heating up with pressure from both sides.
A group of mayors led by Michael Bloomberg of New York and Tom Barrett of Milwaukee is now airing ads in 13 states to pressure lawmakers to support the expansion of background checks.
But the National Rifle Association is has its own TV ads.
It's also set up robocalls against proposed gun control legislation.
