COLUMBIA COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man killed in a crash Easter Sunday.
36-year-old Jerome Renz, of Rio, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 16 near Seier Road in the town of Fountain Prairie.
Authorities say a car and van hit, nearly head on, causing the car Renz was in to roll and land on its roof in the ditch.
Renz was pronounced dead at the scene. An adult passenger and a child were both airlifted to a Madison hospital. The three people in the van were taken to a Columbus hospital with injuries. No word on the conditions of those injured. Names are not being released at this time.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors. The crash remains under investigation.

Columbia County officials say multiple people are seriously injured in a two vehicle crash that happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. More than one Medflight helicopter has been called to the scene.
Initial reports came in that a rollover happened at Highway 16 and Seier Road in Fountain Prairie, which is near Fall River. Scanner reports say there are seven hurt, and three or four are in serious condition.
