BOSTON (WKOW) -- Massachusetts State Police have now called off a search for a green Honda Civic linked to the suspects in the marathon bombings.
Authorities initially said the at-large suspect, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, may have been driving the 1999 Civic, but police said later Friday the car is in their possession and they are no longer looking for it.
Earlier Friday, authorities in Connecticut urged people to be on the lookout for a gray Honda CRV, but police later said that vehicle had been recovered in Boston.
Tsarnaev is the target of a massive manhunt. His 26-year-old brother, Tamerlan, was also identified as a suspect in Monday's twin bombings and was killed in a shootout with police late Thursday night.
BOSTON (WKOW) -- Boston police issued a description early Friday afternoon of a possible suspect car.
Police say it is a green 1999 Honda sedan, with Massachusetts license plate 116-GC7. Police also issued a warning to people not to approach that car if they see it.
Three hours earlier, police found another car they were looking for, a gray 1999 Honda CRV. It was found unoccupied and police say it is being processed for evidence.
