MADISON (WKOW) -- Mad City Vegan Fest is an annual celebration of veganism filled with great food, inspiring speakers, awesome raffle prizes, and a host of vegan-minded exhibitors.
The event is free and open to the public. It's on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Goodman Community Center at 149 Waubesa Street in Madison.
Thousands of people are expected at the event. There will be vegan-curious visitors, vegan speakers and treats.
This year's speakers include Victoria Moran, author of "Main Street Vegan: Everything You Need to Know to Live Healthfully and Compassionately in the Real World", and Harold Brown, a former dairy farmer and founder of Farm Kind.
