BEIJING, CHINA (WKOW) -- A fire that trapped workers inside of a poultry farm and processing plant in China has killed at least 119.
Officials say the fire appeared to have been sparked by three early-morning explosions and has injured several dozen people. The fire department on the scene attributed the blasts to an ammonia leak.
It isn't clear how many workers have been accounted for, and a Chinese government official says the death toll is expected to rise. Survivors of the fire say the plant's "complicated" interior, narrow exits and locked front gate made escape difficult.
