MADISON (WKOW) -- She's been on the job for two months and Wednesday, Madison schools superintendent Jennifer Cheatham is telling us what she's learned so far.
She released a report summarizing strengths and challenges in the system and how to move forward.
Cheatham has visited 48 schools over the past two months and came up with five areas to focus on to improve Madison's school district.
They include providing students with a well-rounded education, getting them ready for college, and keeping family members involved in education.
She'll now collaborate with teachers and staff to create a new framework moving forward.
