BROOKFIELD (WKOW) -- After a close call last night, members of a suburban Milwaukee church are cleaning up from the big storm.
About 130 people were inside the Victory International Fellowship in Brookfield when a huge tree fell onto their church.
It broke through the ceiling in several spots and parts of the church are soaked.
The tree hit the children's wing and there were kids inside at the time.
"The way it turned out nobody was hurt, nobody was injured, we evacuated the children with the workers out in the opposite direction of the building," said pastor Rory Grooters.
He says repairs could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But, he says it's a small price to pay for everyone being safe.
