OSHKOSH (WKOW) --The EAA says it will meet the Federal Aviation Administration's demands to pay about $500,000 to bring in air traffic controllers to this year's Airventure.
The FAA notified organizers last month it had to charge them because of sequestration.
EAA chairman Jack Pelton said they signed a 1-year agreement because the only other option would be to cancel the air show.
But Pelton said they included a letter stating they signed under protest.
