MADISON (WKOW) -- Friday was a free swim day for the first 500 kids who passed through the gates of Madison's Goodman Pool.
It's called "Goodman Day" on behalf of the pool's benefactors, Robert and Irwin Goodman.
The weather was great and getting in free just made it that much better.
"I heard about it being you know, free and I thought I would bring the kids out, let them enjoy themselves, you know," said Liron House. "It's our third time here this week so we've been having a lot of fun."
Goodman Pool, Madison's only public swimming pool, opened for the season last week.
