UPDATE: Two in serious condition after McFarland accident


MCFARLAND (WKOW) -- The McFarland Police Department say all six occupants of the two vehicle crash were injured, with two being in serious condition.

Officers arrived on the intersection of Siggelkow Road and Erling Avenue in McFarland and saw a blue Ford F-150 had rolled over and a black Nissan Rogue was in the ditch.

Four people were transported by ambulance, two were transported by Med Flight.

The McFarland Police Department report that preliminary investigation shows the driver of the Nissan Rogue had a medical problem and may have been unconscious before the crash.  The vehicle was seen going very fast before hitting the Ford.  The force of the impact tore the rear axle off the Ford.

The crash is still under investigation.


MCFARLAND (WKOW) -- There was a rollover accident around 9:30 a.m. on June 16 in McFarland on the intersection of Sigglekow Road and Erling Avenue.

Dane County Communications reports two Med Flights were called in along with six ambulances. They are receiving conflicting reports on how many vehicles were in the accident.

Roads are not blocked.  At 11 a.m., the crew is still on scene.  McFarland Lieutenant Brian Redman told 27 News there were no fatalities, though there are serious injuries.
