UPDATE (WKOW) --- A Federal Judge ruled to keep Brian Stowe detained.
He determined it was too much of risk to let him out.
Tony Galli will have more on this case on 27 News at 5 & 6.
MADISON (WKOW)-- The Madison man accused of drugging, sexually assaulting and video taping a string of women, will appear in federal court for a detention hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Brian Stowe has been behind bars since last week when he first appeared on a federal charge of using a minor to produce child pornography.
Stowe is also charged with 62 felony counts at the state level. A judge will either set a bond amount, or order Stowe jailed for the rest of the case.
He's facing up to 30 years in prison on the federal charge alone.
Police say a report from the child in this case, a 17-year-old, led them to the other women. The eight alleged adult victims worked with Stowe at a Verona tech company. He has since been fired from that company.
Stowe is scheduled to return to Dane County court early next month, for a status conference on the state charges.
