Law enforcement officials to play in charity softball game before Mallards game
MADISON (WKOW) -- Police officers and firefighters will go head to head in a softball match-up this weekend.
It's part of the third annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Night hosted by the Madison Mallards. The Charity Heroes Challenge softball game is before the start of the Mallards game on Sunday, June 23 at Warner Park. The softball game will begin at 1:35 p.m.
A reserved ticket and a hat costs $10, a Duck Blind ticket with soda is $23, and a Duck Blind ticket with beer is $28. $2 of each ticket will go towards Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center in Madison.
You can purchase your ticket(s) by clicking here. You will need to type "law enforcement" into the group's password box after possibly having to enter a prompted security code.
WKOW is a proud sponsor. 27 News' Amber Noggle and John Beard are coaching the police team.
Officers Brian Johnson and Cindy Neubert, with the DeForest Police Department, joined us on 27 News at 5 on Tuesday to talk about the game.
