MADISON (WKOW) -- Schwinn donated more than a dozen bikes Thursday to the University of Wisconsin's Department of Kinesiology's Pediatric Adapted Fitness Program.
The program helps children and teens ages 7-17 with permanent or temporary disabilities.
Schwinn donated 16 bikes to the Adapted Fitness Program as part of their effort to get people biking and encourage safe and fun riding.
Parents also had a chance to learn more about resources and methods for improving health and fitness for their kids and the entire family.
Each child also received a free Schwinn bike helmet.
