MADISON (WKOW) -- Meals are great ways to bring people together and that's exactly the goal of an event in Madison.
Madison Meet & Eat is back for a second year. On Thursday night, food carts came out to the Meadowood Shopping Center on Raymond Road.
People who dropped by said it's a good way to meet their neighbors.
"It gets people together that might not otherwise hang out together, if we're just driving home from work. So it gets people out in the community and they get to meet each other and have some good food," said one man who visited with a friend.
Meet & Eat continues at Meadowood every Thursday night this summer.
It's also expanding to Village Mall on Park Street on Tuesdays in July and St. Paul Lutheran Church on N. Sherman Avenue on Tuesdays in August.
