APPLETON (WKOW) -- An Appleton man shared his weight loss journey with the nation.
He reshaped his body and his life on Extreme Weight Loss on WKOW.
24-year-old Ryan Sawlsville weighed 410 pounds when he began training with Chris Powell.
Along the way, he worked out with Packers linebacker Clay Matthews and former Packer Donald Driver.
After a year, Sawlsville shed 217 pounds, dropping down to 193 pounds.
He says he wants to share his story to show others what's possible.
"I just want people to know that you can come back from anything, there's no excuse, nothing that happens in your life can prevent you if don't let it."
Sawlsville lost his left arm several years ago in a car accident.
He says he survived for a reason, but he couldn't fulfill that purpose because of his weight.
