MADISON (WKOW) -- Setup is underway for Madison's Summer fireworks show Rhythm & Booms.
The firework shells are already in place at Warner Park.
You'll notice some changes this year. Madison Festivals is running the event and it removed the carnival, music stages and beer sales, but the group's president says nothing has changed with the fireworks.
"It's the same fantastic show. It'll be 30 minutes of fantastic fireworks and I think they'll enjoy it as much as they ever have," Madison Festivals President Rita Kelliher says.
Since the show is on a Wednesday, not a weekend, Kelliher expects a bigger Madison crowd and fewer out-of-state visitors this year.
The event will take place Wednesday, July 3.
