MADISON (WKOW) -- The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign kicks off next week in Dane County.
Organizers are working to raise money to go towards the Salvation Army's food programs. The campaign starts July 11 at 37 locations around the county. Volunteers will ring bells to help raise money to feed hundreds of people.
The Salvation Army of Dane County provides meals for up to 40 children a day going to summer camp, as well as hundreds who go to the shelter or use the food pantry.
The campaign runs July 11 to July 20.
Chris Ziemba from the Salvation Army joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to talk about the summer campaign.
