JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- After several months of investigating an illegal production and distribution of THC, a search warrant was executed at a home on E. Holmes.
Officers from the Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Patrol Division and the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations discovered a THC grow operation in the basement of the residence.
Twenty-two THC plants, in various stages of development, were also located and seized. The rooms were wired for grow lights and temperature control.
City Code Enforcement also responded due to the fact that the home's electrical system had been modified to support the grow operation. Several code violations at the residence were documented.
Taken into custody was 27-year-old Steven Tomasovic. He was arrested for running a drug house, possession of more than 20 THC plants and possession of drug paraphernalia.
