MADISON (WKOW) -- A 50-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital in critical condition, after being struck by a vehicle while crossing E. Washington Avenue August 8, has now died.
Madison Police say she was crossing near the intersection of E. Washington and S. Hancock Street.
The crash remains under investigation and no citations have been issued.
MPD is looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash. Any information should be directed to Crimestoppers at 266-6014.

Madison police say the woman was crossing at South Hancock Street.
They say the driver tried to stop, but couldn't.
The woman was taken to the hospital with head injuries. She's said to be in critical condition.
