WASHINGTON (WKOW) – Student loans will officially be tied to the financial market on Friday when President Barack Obama signs it into law.
President Obama says it will save millions of students about $1,500 on their loans this school year.
Critics worry it's only a short term cut and they predict the link to financial markets will drive the rates up in the future.
