MADISON (WKOW)-- Thousands of people pack Olin Turville Park every year for the annual Great Taste of the Midwest.
The beer-tasting event is put on by the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild. More than 100 brewers from all over the Midwest come to Madison to share their best beers and introduce some new creations.
The event is so popular, people come from across the U.S. to attend, and tickets sell out months in advance.
"We sell out in minutes," says organizer Mark Morrison. "In fact, if you're not in line about an hour and a half or two hours before we put them on sale, you're not going to get tickets."
Morrison estimates brewers served up at least 900 different beers this year.
