SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- No one was hurt when a duplex caught fire Tuesday night in Sun Prairie.
Firefighters were called to the 1100 block of Chicory Way around 7 p.m. The Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department says the garage of a duplex was on fire.
Firefighters say the people living there were home when the fire started, and they all got out safely.
Crews had the fire out in about 10 to 15 minutes.
"Everything went pretty smooth. We had a good water source, a lot of help from other communities which is always much appreciated," said the SPVFD's Tory Strauss.
Firefighters say the garage is a total loss, but the connected duplex is salvageable.
At this point, investigators aren't sure how the fire started.
