MADISON (WKOW) -- The head of Gov. Scott Walker's semi-private jobs creation agency met with the new University of Wisconsin-Madison chancellor Tuesday to talk about how they can work together on economic development.
Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.(WEDC) CEO Reed Hall said Wednesday he had a very good meeting with Chancellor Rebecca Blank, the former U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
Hall says Blank instigated the meeting and that she also plans to meet soon with WEDC's vice presidents.
Hall spoke about Blank as he and other WEDC officials detailed steps they've taken to improve the agency and address problems identified in several audits.
