MADISON (WKOW) -- Justin Brooks, the man accused of beating another man to death, is competent, so his criminal case will move forward.
That ruling came Thursday in Brooks' murder case in Dane County.
Police say Brooks beat Robert Kuntz, 61, with a wooden table leg near the state Capitol. Kuntz died the next day.
Brooks is charged with first degree intentional homicide and misdemeanor bail jumping.
He'll be back in court August 29.
