WAUTOMA (WKOW) – Authorities say a Wisconsin man who robbed a pharmacy and exchanged gunfire with authorities has shot himself to death.
Thirty-three-year-old Timothy Pawlacyk of rural Redgranite was found dead in the basement of a home he had broken into in Wautoma.
Waushara County Sheriff David Peterson says authorities believe Pawlacyk died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to our sister station, WBAY-TV, Pawlacyk walked into the CHN Pharmacy in Wautoma on Wednesday, showed a handgun and demanded Oxycotin, a prescription painkiller. He fled in a vehicle after receiving an undisclosed amount of pills.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
