MADISON (WKOW) --- A couple are under arrest in connection to a rash of thefts on the UW- Madison campus and other locations.
22-year-old Jamie L. Anderson and 37-year-old Jason S. Hart were arrested Wednesday.
They face a number of fraud, theft, and burglary charges.
The two used stolen credit cards at businesses throughout Dane County to buy computers, cigarettes, movies, and food. They would exchange or pawn items with an area drug dealer for heroin as well.
Police say Anderson and Hart are responsible for a number of thefts on campus including stealing computers, purses, and wallets.
Madison Police along with UW-Madison Police took the couple into custody using a security team at Target for surveillance footage.
