MADISON (WKOW) -- Two local non-profits that help kids will benefit from a donation from the University of Wisconsin athletic department.
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center and the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County each received more than $94,000.
The U.W. got the money as part of sanctions imposed by the Big Ten Conference on Penn State University after the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
