MADISON (WKOW) -- A man from Madison with an unusual name drew national attention last year now faces drug charges in Iowa.
A Wisconsin State Journal report says felony charges have been filed against 32-year-old Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop. He goes by Beezow.
He was arrested July 20th in Washington County in Iowa. He remained in the county jail Saturday. He was brought in as Jeffrey D. Wilschke, which is the name on his driver's license. Wilschke legally changed his name in 2011.
Beezow was arrested for drug possession in Madison in 2012. It got national attention due to his name, which became fodder for TV anchors and late-night talk show hosts.
Online court records did not list a defense attorney Saturday.
