WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama speaks out about the situations in Syria and Egypt.
He was on CNN's "New Day" on Friday morning first calling the possible chemical weapons attack in Syria, "a big event of grave concern." President Obama says it will likely "require America's attention."
When President Obama was asked about what's going on in Egypt, he says cutting off aid to the country may not reverse what the interim government does.
President Obama says America has to be careful about being seen as aiding actions that run contrary to our values. Administration officials are still deciding whether to cut-off more than a billion dollars in aid to Egypt.
