GEORGIA (WKOW) – Crossing paths in the worst of circumstances, a hero finally meets the 911 operator who was with her the whole time.
Antoinette tuff helped talk down a gunman who fired shots at an Atlanta area Elementary school. Through much of the standoff, she was on the phone with 911 operator Kendra McCray.
During an exclusive interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper on Thursday, the two women had an opportunity to meet.
Moments before Tuff went on air, she received a call from President Barack Obama. He thanked her for her bravery and said the whole first family was very proud of her.
