MADISON (WKOW) – A woman sustained non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say the woman was crossing the intersection southbound on Raymond Road when a westbound traveling car yielded to her. The vehicle driven by a 52-year-old Madison man was rear-ended by another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Madison woman, which then caused the first vehicle to enter the intersection and hit the pedestrian.
The 52-year-old man sustained minor injuries in the crash. The 17-year-old woman was cited for following too close.
