FORT HOOD, TX (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin woman whose daughter was killed in the Fort Hood shooting rampage testified Tuesday in the penalty phase of Major Nidal Hasan's trial in Texas.
Jerri Krueger of Kiel said she lives every day with the loss of her daughter, Sergeant Amy Krueger.
Jerri recounted how she and her family frantically tried to find out if Amy was okay after hearing about the shooting.
Amy Krueger and Captain Russell Seager of Racine were the two Wisconsin soldiers killed in the attack.
Jury deliberations are expected to begin Wednesday in the trial of Hasan.
He was convicted of killing 13 people at the base in November 2009.
Hasan rested his case Tuesday without calling any witnesses or testifying.
