MADISON (WKOW) – The Babcock Dairy Plant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has recently named an ice cream after the new chancellor.
Rebecca Blank's ice cream is called Bec-Key Lime Pie and it will be available September 1. The plant made 300 gallons of the new ice cream, so it will only be available while supplies last.
The name was selected from a contest that received more than 400 suggestions. The store also offers the Berry Alvarez, after the school's athletic director Barry Alvarez.
The Babcock Dairy Plant offers 75 flavors a year with 20, like vanilla, offered year-round. They also offer four "feature flavors" every month.
