CLARK COUNTY (WKOW) – Authorities say they're trying to figure out what charges to recommend for two teens that sparked a dangerous chase across western Wisconsin counties Wednesday night.
The case spans multiple counties and authorities say that's what makes it more complicated. Clark County's Chief Deputy Jim Backus says each county will be looking at their own individual situations to file charges against the teens.
The situation started in Taylor County when a 15-year-old and 13-year-old stole a car and some guns.
After the chase crossed county lines, swat teams from four different counties were called in to help. The state patrol joined in the effort from the air.
Backus says, "Green Bay Police Department was immediately notified and they were taken into custody without incident."
Authorities say the boys may have been involved in recent crimes within Clark County.
