MADISON (WKOW) -- Free bus rides will be offered on Saturday for Madison and the surrounding areas to help provide safe rides on what is expected to be a busy weekend in Madison.
Madison Metro is teaming up with Coors Light and Frank Beer Distributors to bring a free ride program to Madison on Saturday.
"We are excited to partner with Coors Light to encourage safe transportation throughout our community," Chuck Kamp, Metro Transit general manager, said. "Residents and visitors should all make an effort to take advantage of the Coors Light Free Rides on this busy Saturday to get around town safely."
The Coors Light Free Rides will be available on all Metro Transit routes serving the City of Madison, Town of Madison, Middleton and Fitchburg beginning at 3 p.m. until the end of regular service on Saturday.
"As people flock to the city to celebrate the end of summer, we hope Coors Light Free Rides will provide an easy option for people to enjoy themselves responsibly," Diane Wagner, responsibility commerce manager for MillerCoors, said.
