WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WKOW) – A high school freshman in Wisconsin Rapids has given his verbal commitment to play college basketball at Marquette.
Fifteen-year-old Philip Flory will be following his dad's footsteps to Marquette University in Milwaukee in about 4 years. Flory visited the team last week and took some shots with the team on the court.
Flory says the decisions to be a golden eagle was easy.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Flory is the youngest player to be extended an offer from Marquette's head basketball coach.
