MADISON (WKOW) – Wisconsin's Fall Color Report has been posted and now visitors find out where foliage has started to change color within the state.
An interactive map has been posted at TravelWisconsin.com, which allows visitors to click and find out where nature is starting to change color and how far along the change is in its cycle.
The map uses input and observations from more than 100 fall-color reporters across the state. Officials from visitor bureaus, tourism organizations and state parks can update their area's status as conditions change.
The report also has tabs showing nearby events and lodging, travel tips for scenic drives and local travel information.
You can access the report on a smart phone, tablet or computer. You can also have the report emailed to you every Thursday, just in time to make weekend plans.
